One of our Wellington architects, Cushla Thurston, gave a presentation on modern learning environments during the School Executive Officers' 2012 Conference.
She talked about designing flexible spaces to compliment current curriculum delivery using the principles of Fielding Nair and Ministry of Education tools and requirements.
Cushla has led the redevelopment of Heretaunga College in Upper Hutt and showcased this project to illustrate how a collection of standard school buildings can be transformed into a campus for modern learning.
